Information about Data Protection and Data Processing

Uniserv GmbH has a modern computer centre where it processes personal data within the framework of contract management for its customers. These customers, in turn, are responsible for observing and implementing existing data protection provisions when processing their own customer’s personal data. We support our customers with their responsibilities by immediately deleting personal data from concluded contracts when it is no longer required for any other agreed purpose.

Collection and Processing of Personal Data

You do not have to give us any personal information when you visit our website. Personal data is only collected and saved when you provide it explicitly, for example together with a request for information, or for registration purposes, or for opening a test account to demonstrate the software.

Whenever our web server is accessed, general information about the visit is logged in a protocol file. We cannot evaluate this information to obtain personal details. Instead, we use it exclusively for statistical/ invoicing purposes and for optimising the design and customising of this website in accordance with general visitor behaviour.

The IP address is considered personal data under data protection legislation. As a rule, we do not evaluate this data and only store it temporarily for security-related reasons, or when an attempt is made to misuse it.

Use and Transfer of Personal Data

Uniserv GmbH is fully committed to handling your data in strict confidence and to processing it in strict compliance with our Privacy Policy. Responsible treatment of data and compliance with the regulations of the Federal German Data Protection Act and other legal guidelines are core principles of our company.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and saved by Google on servers in the United States of America. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity for website operators and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that by doing so, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of your data by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Permission for data collection and storage can be withdrawn at any time (“Opt-out”), effective from the time of withdrawal. In view of the debate about the use of analysis tools for establishing complete IP addresses, we wish to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension “anonymizeIp()” and that the IP address can only be further processed in a shortened form which does not enable individual identification of a user.

Information about, Correction and Deletion of your Data

Upon request we will provide details of any personal data Uniserv GmbH has saved about you, and the reason for its storage. Uniserv will correct any data found to be incorrect. You have the right to block any personal data kept by Uniserv, or have it deleted. However, if deletion is prevented by legal, contractual, tax or trade-reporting obligations, or for any other legal reasons, only the processing of your data can be restricted.

Security

Uniserv GmbH is fully aware of the importance of security for the data it handles. We have implemented technical and organizational measures to protect the data from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss or destruction, or access by an unauthorized source. These security measures are continuously updated to keep abreast of current technological developments.
